About Laura
With an MA (hons) in History and Politics and a PGCE in Education, in addition to various UKA dance qualifications, Laura is well-placed to teach you more than just dance steps.
Laura also trained in various Latin dance styles in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and dances both the leader and follower in various styles of 'Salsa' and other similar musical genres.
In class you will find yourself fully immersed in the cultures of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.
Classes will show respect and appreciation for the many cultures that gave birth to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Bolero, Son, Cumbia, Vallenato, Cha Cha and similar musical genres.
Laura has organised live latin music events and has taught throughout the UK and internationally over two decades.
